Chicopee- Elliott J. Cruz, 44, passed away suddenly on August 2. Elliott was born in New York on July 5th. Elliott was the life of the party. He had a contagious personality and touched a lot of lives. He inspired many to love. He was very loving and caring towards all those who entered his life. He was crazy about his daughters, his wife and his grandparents; he was so full of love for all of them. The last 10 years of his life were very meaningful filled with many wonderful and new experiences. Elliott was never afraid to show his emotions. He was passionate about music, the Mets, and wrestling. He was an employee at Best Buy in Holyoke. Elliot was predeceased by his grandfather, who was like a father to him, Mr. Pedro Cruz. Elliott is survived by: his loving wife, Jasmin Cruz; his 3 daughters, Alexis, Jasmine and Emme Cruz; his grandmother, who was like a mother to him, Mrs. Juana Cruz; his mother, Luz Minerva Cruz; and his 3 sisters, Annette Morales, Shirley and Charlene Filomeno. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and really great friends. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. He will live forever in the hearts of all those who loved him dearly. The Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 9, from 10 – 11 a.m. at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State St., Springfield, followed by Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, August 8, from 7 – 9 p.m. at 730 State St.
