Springfield - Edwin Ortiz, 61, passed away Friday, November 19th, 2021, at Baystate Medical Center. Edwin was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, on August 16th, 1960, to his parents Guillermo Ortiz and Lydia Gonzalez.
Edwin was very much loved and he will be missed. Edwin leaves to cherish his memories his parents, his loving Wife: Maria Del Carmen Gerena-Cruz, his Son: Edwin Ortiz, Jr., Three Daughters: Johanna Ortiz, Marangely Roque and Debora Rodriguez, Three Brothers: Felix Ortiz, Luis Ortiz and William Ortiz, Two Sisters: Marisela Ortiz and Katiria Ortiz, Nine Grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Calling Hours will be on Friday, December 3rd, 2021, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA, followed by his burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay Street, Springfield, MA.
