Laura Sanchez , 92, resident of Springfield, MA went to be with the Lord peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She passed into Eternal Life surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family.
Laura was born on 01/20/31 in Isabella, Puerto Rico. She came to NYC, New York in her twenties to seek a better life. That is where Laura discovered the loves of her life. She found God and became a faithful servant. Her soulmate Dolores “lolo” Sanchez and they had seven children. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother catering to all she loved. She left her mark in all of us , sharing her amazing meals, loving advice, thoughts and most of all love. Laura had a beautiful humble spirit. She truly lived for her husband, children and grandchildren helped raise all of them she will truly be missed and never forgotten.
Predeceased by her three children, William Sanchez, Jeremiah Sanchez, loving daughter Felicita “Liza” Saenz, and beloved husband Dolores “Lolo” Sanchez. She leaves her sons, John Sanchez and wife Nilsa Sanchez, Dennis Sanchez, David Sanchez and daughter Miriam Azito and husband Benjamin Azito, her 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great- grandchildren and host of family and friends.
Calling Hours will be on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA, followed by her burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield, MA.
