W. Springfield- George A. Kaeppel, 77, passed away peacefully after a long illness on July 4. George was active in the local Teamster Union and an avid sports fan. He is survived by: life partner, Diane Perilli; his children, David, Mark, Leslie and Courtney; his grandchildren, Christopher, Shawna, Jenna, Kristi and Summer; Diane’s children, William, Lisa, Tina, Ann-Marie and Stephen; and Diane’s grandchildren, Tara, Raven and Brandon; his brother, Buddy Kaeppel; his sister, Ann Parent; and many friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, July 15, at 3 p.m. at the MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA.
