Springfield- Jafet Robles,33, devoted father and fierce justice warrior now rests in peace, love and power. Jafet was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on December 2, 1983 to Nelson Robles and Noemi Arguinzoni. He was the Springfield Chapter Lead Organizer for Neighbor to Neighbor. More than that,Jafet was the heart of N2N’s organizing work. He was fierce, fearless, and relentless in his work to end mass incarceration. He had deep, passionate love for Puerto Rico, Her people and Her Independence. His love for his work was only surpassed by the love for his people. He fought for your liberation, for my liberation, for liberation of us all. Jafet was loved and he will be missed. He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Step Father Gilberto Jimenez, Step Mother, Luz A. Robles, Maternal Grandmother; Encarnacion Arguinzoni, Paternal Grandparents; Marcelo and Longina Rosario, a Daughter; Destiny M. Robles, 3 Sons; Jafet, Jozaiah and Jasier Robles, a Sister; Rebeca Suarez, ; 7 Step-Sisters; Jill, Crystal, Jasmin, Dasheska, and Jewel Jimenez, Melony and Christina Rubero, 2 Step-Brothers; Joshua Jimenez and Joshua Rubero; 4 Aunts; Gloria Colon, Damaris Torres, Rebeca Arguinzoni, Nelly Torres, 4 Uncles; Eliezer Torres, Miguel Colon, Hiram and Ruben Robles, his cousins loved as brothers/sisters; Abdias Garcia, Lemuel Bosques, Juan E and Joel Torres, Alex, Micah, and Natalia Varela, Cherly, Shalimar and Caleb Colon, many family and friends. Calling hours will be held at St. John's Congregational Church 45 hancock St. Springfield Ma. on Thursday September 21, 2017 from 5pm-8pm and on Friday September 22, 2017 from 10 am - 11:30 am followed by a burial at Springfield Cemetery.
